Car makers are planning several new launches in the coming months, in a hope to bring buyers back to a market that has seen demand dwindling amid spiraling inflation and rising cost of finance. While Tata's Nano is in the headlines, some exciting offers are on their way from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Fiat, among others. October being the festive season will see a lot of action in the auto market. Tata will launch the Nano that will coincide with Maruti's small car, the A Star. Maruti is also likely to launch another hatchback, the Splash before end of the year. Hyundai Motor plans to introduce i20 which will be based on the i10 platform. Fiat SPA will make a comeback with two of its best models, the Grande Punto and the Linea to be launched in September. Toyota is refreshing its flagship Corolla in August, while Honda Siel Cars India will go for a makeover of Honda City by November. The new launches come as an aid at a time when sales are tapering off and growth has been sluggish.
