Short-term healthcare career training
Lower Columbia College offers several short-term programs for healthcare workers, preparing entry-level employees and providing continuing education classes to help you better care for your patients. Choose from:

  • Nursing Assistant (Certified)
  • Health Occupations Core (HOC)
  • Caregiver certificate
  • Healthcare Continuing Education

Apprenticeship programs

Earn a Professional/Technical Certificate
Train for a new career or promotion with one of LCC's short-term programs, focused on the skills you'll need to work in your field. You'll get plenty of hands-on practice, supervised by an expert instructor.  Choose from dozens of programs in fields from Business Management to Welding. Add Skills or Brush Up
What if you just want to brush up or add a few skills--such as CNC Machining, Computer Network Security, PowerPoint or Advanced Wire Machine Welding?  Enroll for just the classes you need. 

Job preparation
What if you only need one class, or a quick study and test?  Through LCC, you can get your:

  • Food Handler card
  • Beverage Server card
